Office Safety

Main Content

At TCU, we are committed to providing a safe work environment for all employees, students, and visitors to the campus community. In alignment with the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, we recognize our responsibility to ensure that our office spaces are free from recognized hazards that may cause harm.

To uphold this commitment, the University:

  • Identifies and mitigates potential workplace hazards, including fire safety concerns, ergonomic risks, and slip, trip, and fall hazards.
  • Provides appropriate safety training and resources to employees to promote awareness and preparedness.
  • Maintains emergency response procedures.
  • Encourages employees and students to report safety concerns without fear of retaliation.

All members of the University community are responsible for adhering to established safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.  By fostering a culture of safety and compliance, we strive to create a productive environment for all.
