Environmental Health & Safety
The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) office at Texas Christian University (TCU) is committed to promoting a safe and healthy campus environment. Our primary responsibility is to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while protecting the well-being of faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
EHS staff stay current with evolving laws and regulations, translating them into practical health and safety programs tailored to the unique needs of the institution and its strategic mission. As part of the Risk Management Department within the Division of Finance and Administration, EHS oversees the identification and management hazards that pose a risk to the campus community.
Safety begins in the workplace - whether in labs, classrooms, shops, offices, or residence
halls. Every member of the TCU community shares responsibility for maintaining a safe
environment by exercising sound judgment and remaining aware of their surroundings.
