Asbestos Management

Main Content

Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral fiber, used in numerous building materials and vehicle products. Some examples of products manufactured with asbestos include vinyl floor tile, pipe insulation, ceiling tiles, heat-resistant fabrics, roofing materials, and laboratory hood panels. Heavy exposures tend to occur in construction, particularly during the removals of asbestos materials due to renovation, repairs or demolition.

Management is outsourced, but do we have a documented asbestos management plan?

TCU Facilities maintains building inspection reports and records (ACM Summary Report).  Questions regarding asbestos management at TCU should be directed to TCU Facilities at 817-257-7955.
